LEPSA make the calculation designs, manufactures and installs a wide variety of FRP ducts and stacks for different applications required by industries, such as Sulphuric Acid Plants, chemical plants, paper plants, refineries, acid plants, food processing plants, etc.

In order to design a stack or duct adjusted to the technical requirements of each application, LEPSA studies the process and uses the appropriate components to resist that process, as well as the temperature and environment in which they will operate. The wind loads and seismic zones are also considered in the design calculations.

Depending on the type of resin used in their manufacture, and the gases that will be transported, FRP ducts and stacks can be used up to 150º C of temperature. Operating temperature must be calculated for each case.

These pieces are easy to transport, install and assemble because FRP is lighter than steel and concrete. Additionally, they have the great advantage of being rust resistant (internally and externally).

FRP ducts and stacks don’t need maintenance so they don’t require sandblasting or painting.  The FRP color is included in the resin in order to preserve its original characteristics for a long time. UV additives and inhibitors are applied.
