The scrubber manufactured by LEPSA consists of an integral system of elements arranged in a flanged structure, manufactured entirely in FRP, adapting their size in accordance with the flows.

They are used to neutralize or reduce highly corrosive toxic gases at high temperatures before they are sent to the environment. The neutralizing solution is dispersed on the internal elements (packing) through a shower, washing the gas against flow in a large contacting area, allowing them to come out clean to the environment.

The neutralizing solution rushes to a tank where a pumping system makes it re-circulate again until it’s saturated, then, it is replaced by another.

These towers are calculated, designed and manufactured specifically for each case.

Its use is widespread in plants where chemical processes are developed with high content of toxic gases.
