FRP has been incorporated in the construction of fans in order to handle a wide range of corrosive gases under harsh conditions. The main advantage is in the endurance of the equipment, compared with stainless steel and other special coatings, at a considerable lower cost.

Casings and drives are manufactured in fibber glass, using vinyl ester (acid resistant) resins.

Drive shafts are stainless steel, FRP encapsulated in all areas exposed to the flow of     corrosive gases, this way their protection and greater durability is ensure.
